01The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Operation Silo LLC ("we", "us", "our"), which operates AI Ghost Writer at aighostwriter.co and aibookauthor.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, buying a package, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
02What we provide
AI Ghost Writer helps you plan, write, design and refine a book using artificial intelligence. Depending on the package you choose, the Service can include:
- A guided conversation that turns your idea into a book plan, an editable outline, and title suggestions;
- A full-length manuscript written by AI from your plan, optionally in a writing style learned from a sample you provide;
- AI-designed cover artwork, and cover remakes where your package includes them;
- Downloadable files (such as PDF, Word, EPUB and text) and, on eligible packages, print-ready files formatted for Amazon KDP paperback or hardcover;
- The AI Editor, including AI rewriting tools, a story bible, character chat and story analysis, on packages that include it.
The exact features of each package are shown at the time you buy. We continually improve the Service, which means features may change over time, but we won't take away something you've paid for in a way that materially reduces what you bought.
03Your account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or make a purchase. Please give us accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@aighostwriter.co if you think someone else has accessed it.
04Your book is yours
You own your content. "Your content" means everything you give us (your ideas, answers, writing samples, uploaded files and edits) and everything the Service generates for your book (the outline, manuscript, characters, cover artwork and other outputs). As between you and us, you own your content, and we assign to you any rights we may have in the outputs generated for you.
You may publish, sell, adapt, and otherwise use your book however you like, including commercially, without paying us royalties or giving us credit.
What you let us do with it. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the Service for you: for example, to write and edit your book, create your files, keep backups, and provide support. We don't publish your book, sell it, or show it to other users. We won't use your book in our marketing without your separate, explicit permission.
A note on copyright: the law on copyright for AI-assisted works is still developing and varies by country. The more of your own creativity you add (your ideas, choices, edits and rewrites), the stronger your own claim to the work will generally be.
05AI-generated content
The Service uses AI models from providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI. AI is powerful but not perfect. Generated content may occasionally contain mistakes, inaccurate facts, or passages similar to existing works. Please review your book before you publish or rely on it, especially non-fiction, and especially anything involving health, legal, financial or safety topics.
You're responsible for how you use your book. Character chat conversations are fictional role-play based on your manuscript; they are for creative exploration and are not statements of fact or advice.
06Publishing your book
We give you publication-ready files; publishing is done by you, through the platform of your choice. Retailers and publishing platforms have their own rules. Amazon KDP, for example, asks authors to disclose AI-generated content when publishing. You're responsible for following the rules of any platform you publish on, and for making sure your book doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. On eligible packages, you can run a similarity check from the AI Editor before you publish.
07Acceptable use
Please use the Service responsibly. You agree not to use it to:
- Create content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, harasses or threatens real people, or incites violence;
- Impersonate a real person, or create defamatory content or deceptive material presented as fact about real people;
- Infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including by uploading material you don't have the right to use;
- Interfere with the Service, probe or bypass our security or usage limits, scrape it, or resell access to it;
- Violate the usage policies of the AI providers that power the Service.
We may refuse to generate content, or suspend accounts, that break these rules.
08Payments & payment plans
Prices are shown before you buy and are charged in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
One-time purchases
A package is a one-time purchase for one book. There is no recurring subscription.
Payment plans
If you choose a payment plan, we charge the first installment when you buy and the remaining installments monthly, for the number of payments shown at checkout. Billing stops automatically after the final installment. If an installment fails, we'll let you know and give you a way to update your payment method. Until the balance is brought up to date, we may pause delivery of your book files and access to paid features.
Promotions
Discount codes and promotions apply only as described in the offer, can't be exchanged for cash, and may expire.
09Refunds & our 30-day guarantee
If you're not thrilled with your book, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. No questions asked. Just email info@aighostwriter.co or use our contact form from the email address on your account.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, and your bank may take several business days to show them. For payment plans, we refund the installments you've paid and cancel any that remain. When a purchase is refunded, access to that book's paid features and downloads ends.
10Fair-use allowances
AI tools cost real money every time they run. To keep the Service fast and fair for everyone, some features have usage allowances. Examples include a rolling allowance on AI Editor actions that refreshes over time, and limits on how many AI images or cover remakes can be generated. When you reach an allowance, the Service will tell you when it refreshes. Allowances are part of how the Service works; they are not extra purchases.
11Our property
Apart from your content, the Service itself belongs to us: the software, design, logos, the "AI Ghost Writer" name, and our prompts and processes. These Terms don't give you any rights to them other than the right to use the Service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12Third-party services
The Service relies on trusted providers for things like AI generation, payments, text messages and hosting. Your use of features powered by them may also be subject to their terms. We're not responsible for third-party websites or services that we link to but don't control.
13Disclaimers
Aside from the promises we make in these Terms (including our 30-day guarantee), the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your book will achieve any particular sales, reviews or results.
14Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you provide, from how you publish or use your book, or from your breach of these Terms.
15Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or where required by law. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of anything you've paid. Download your files before closing your account; once it's deleted, we can't recover your books.
16Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Operation Silo LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Most concerns can be settled quickly, and we're committed to doing so. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.
17Changes & contact
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
